Dmitriy of American Building Development came to my home and gave me an estimate for work I needed to be done on my home. He was very professional and the estimate was very reasonable. In a few weeks the ABD crew came to my home to begin work. I needed some dry rot wood on the front elevation replaced and painted. I also had water damaged trim on my chimney replaced and painted. And, while they were already on the roof, they went around and fixed numerous cracked tiles that needed attention. They also caulked around all of my windows. Their work was excellent! They not only performed the work I contracted for, but went out of their way to do some additional work at no extra charge! AMD is not your ordinary contracting company, they are very much a step above. They were very conscientious and competent in all of the work they performed on my home. I will definitely have them back to work on my home again! They are a 5 star company!

We had part of the cedar shingles replaced on the outside of our 70 year old house and then had the whole house painted (a total of 3 colors). We are extremely pleased with the end result. Dan and his crew were very responsive to all our requests and we recommend them highly.

Staff of American Building Development were hired to work on our primary bathroom. Vitalli fixed our subfloor that previously contained dry rot. It took much longer than anticipated but was completed thoroughly and the site was left clean. Mike is planned to complete the floor/shower tile and drywall repairs. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dan although he is not on this project. So far everything has been fine. We would maybe recommend this company. We will update this review as work is completed to our satisfaction. Will also upload pictures of the finished product.

This review is overdue. I had American Building Development (ABD) remodel my kitchen and 3 baths. Their work was pretty darn good. The only issues were with suppliers not having products or sending ABD broken items. So that was out of their control. So that slowed things down a little. Overall, the work was good and I would hire them again.

Dan and his team knocked out a kitchen wall and installed a support beam in place of the wall, and they did an absolutely amazing job. Extremely professional, very good communication. The thing I liked most about Dan is that he set expectations up front really well and did not try to sell us on services we didn’t need. They are honest and trustworthy, I will absolutely use American Building Development for our future dry rot project.

I’d been looking for someone to make some dry rot repairs on my house, and after a company recommended by my neighbor didn’t return my call, I googled ‘Sacramento dry rot repair’ and found American Building Development. I filled out the contact form on their website, and was surprised that someone called within the hour to schedule an inspection. Wow! The inspector, Dan, came the next morning, and told me he’d have a proposal ready for me by the end of the day - and he did! The guy who came out to do the work - Sean - did an outstanding job. Great communication, reasonable price, and excellent work, all in all a very positive experience. I would recommend ABD very highly.

Super clear communication, Dan set expectations up front and was very clear with the project timelines and costs. We have a project coming up soon and we'll definitely be using American Building Development for the job!

Our home had dry rot really bad, and Dan from american Building Dev gave us a good quote, and on top of it, they showed up 45 min after calling them. They were on time and worked very hard in the hot sun, and the work they did was very professional. I recommend this company for any kind of work you need done.

These guys were the best. True Professionals. Dan, Dmitry and the crew exceeded all of my expectations on the re-building of my 840 sq/ft, 40 year old, covered deck. I really feel that I got much more than I had expected. The ABD crew had an exceptional work ethic, were professional, and respectful. This was a 7 day job. They arrived on time every morning and left the job site spotless at the end of every day. Dan and I did a final walk-around on a Monday morning and found a few minor items that needed to be addressed. Dan had his crew back at my job that afternoon and fixed those issues. I have two more projects in the future and I will definitely use ABD. I highly recommend ABD.

This company was very promising when we first started working with them. They were responsive, quick, and helpful. However, after having the inspector come out after they replaced our dry rot we were informed that their work was not up to code. Rather than coming to fix their mistake and apologizing, they charged us and extra thousand to come and correct their poor handy work. At first I told all my friends and family to use them because I really liked them, now I advise all of those who have rated them highly to ensure that the work was actually done correctly. No one wants to pay thousands to have low quality work done. The red circles show the areas that they split the wood rather than replacing the beam. That makes it more likely to fail eventually.

I was in need of a contractor that would take on the the rebuilding my 40 year old, 840 sq ft covered deck. I had the good fortune to get in contact with American Building Development. Dan, Dmitry, and the crew were exceptional and the job they did exceeded all my expectations. The ABD crew were professional and respectful. It was a 7 day project. They arrived time every day at 8am and when they were finished at the end of the day they left my property spotless. Dan and I did a final walk through on Monday morning and found a few areas that needed a touch-up. Dan had his crew back at my house that afternoon to do the touch-ups. The job was finished and the final result exceeded ALL my expectations. I will definitely use ABD again and I highly recommend ABD.

I am a Realtor and have worked with the company professionally & found working with them was so quick, efficient & communicative. I personally had this company also perform work on my own home (including stucco repairs, certain parts of flooring & other areas that needed board replacement, etc.) was performed very clean and they efficiently got the work done in a timely manner. As a Realtor & home owner, having a company I can rely on is absolutely important & I highly recommend them.

Taras came to my home and worked non-stop on a few issues the inspectors had pointed out needed repairs. He was very professional, quick, clean, and polite. Taras fixed some dry rot outside of the house and replaced the baseboards in my bathroom and repaired water damage underneath my sink. Great job! A++

Dan and his team were reliable, professional, and courteous just outstanding!!!! They did a beautiful job remodeling my kitchen and the owner suite bathroom I was amazed !!! I would recommend them to anyone they deserved 10 stars!! The remodeling was a very long process for me because I had the kitchen and a bathroom done at the same time I got Covid in between and they were very accommodating, waiting 10 days for me to recover. Whenever I text Dan day or night he responded right away to my text messages and emails.Alex one of his staff was always on time and work until completion.There is not enough words to express how satisfied and grateful I am for Dan and his team they are someone that you always want to have on speed dial when you need remodeling his company is the one!!!JoAnn W.

5 Stars! Was looking to renovate my house although most companies had either outrages prices or would have hidden fees, the crew is a bunch of lovely guys and love the master work they did! They changed my whole appearance of the house and were just as happy as I am, you can tell that they enjoy the master work they do. There hands are golden

I had a wonderful experience with American Building Development. They replaced a 12 foot sliding glass door. When they were finished, the door looked like it had been built with the original house. They showed up on time, were respectful of my property, did all the work beyond my expectations. They are craftsmen down to the last detail. I would highly recommend them, and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

I highly recommend Dan and his crew they replace a window at the house and fix a leak on the roof. The work was done in a rainy day which required for them to be really fast. I was amazed how quick they did it !! The guy had to go in and out of the house. he took his shoes off every time he come in the room. I was thankful of that. Shows that they care when he was done. Everything was nice and clean. He did an awesome job on the window frame inside and outside the room look beautiful ! Thank you guys for your help

Highly recommend Dan and his crew. They were able to fix my new deck when most other contractors wanted to replace it. They came out the same week and didn’t waste time. They did a great job at a reasonable rate, and are honest in keeping within their quote. I have future projects I will be calling them for.

They were able to take care of some other smaller projects that most other contractors wouldn't even put a bid on. I highly recommend Dan and his crews, I'll be looking to use them for all my projects moving forward.

I contracted them to work on the sidings, and they went above and beyond the competition in terms of price and professionalism. They pointed out quite a few repairs outside of the sidings that would eventually become troublesome if left unaddressed and showed me how I could remedy them myself. I will always recommend their services and will be calling them when it comes time to do our bathroom remodel! 10/10.

I worked with Dimitri and Dan for a large project which involved retrofitting and replacing balconies on a few apartments I own. I received multiple bids from other contractors, and Dan / Dimitri gave me the best price and were extremely efficient and transparent throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond. The tenant that lives in the building they were working on needed to store their car for a month while the build-out was taking place and Dan / Dimitri offered their garage as storage - they even helped with transporting the car to their space - it was awesome. I also had them remodel one of my other apartments that was vacant. Dan / Dimitri ended up finding me a fantastic tenant for the apartment. I have other properties that need contracting work and I have zero hesitations to reach out to them for future projects! They've truly become friends and I highly recommend them to anyone needing contracting services.

We needed major repair on our deck, but could not afford to replace it. Not only was American Building Development the most responsive, they gave us the best price. They identified the most important areas of need while carefully considering cost. They also identified other major dry rot areas that were overlooked by previous inspectors. The workers even did a bunch of extra spots, fills, and fixes without even charging us. The ABD team had exceptional work ethic and were very professional and polite. They took the time to show us the repair progress, showed us other areas to watch in the future, and even educated us on how to preserve and care for our deck. Throughout the process they demonstrated confidence and that helped us worry less. They said they would take good care of everything…and they did! Thank you ABD team!

I was especially impressed with the creative solution American Building Development came up with for my particular issue. Their team was prompt and worked very hard until the outside project was completed - even working on a stormy day. They left the area clean and we're a pleasure to have do the job. I would highly recommend them and will certainly contact them for future projects.

Fungus and termites were found in the wall of my house. These guys disassembled my stucco, changed all the beams, made a new stucco, painted the wall and now I can live in peace and enjoy further. All the guys are very responsive, working hard. You guys are messengers from God to me! Thank you, good luck!!! I plan to contact you all the time! I can highly recommend this company!!!
