These guys were the best—true professionals! Dan, Dmitriy, and the crew exceeded all of my expectations on the rebuilding of my 840 sq/ft, 40-year-old covered deck. I really feel that I got much more than I had anticipated. The ABD(American Building Development) crew had an exceptional work ethic; they were professional and respectful. This was a 7-day job, and they arrived on time every morning, leaving the job site spotless at the end of each day. Dan and I did a final walk-around on a Monday morning and identified a few minor items that needed attention. Dan had his crew back at my job that afternoon to fix those issues.
I have two more projects in the future, and I will definitely use American Building Development again. I highly recommend ABD!

I’d been looking for someone to make some dry rot repairs on my house, and after a company recommended by my neighbor didn’t return my call, I googled ‘Sacramento dry rot repair’ and found ABD. I filled out the contact form on their website and was surprised that someone called within the hour to schedule an inspection. Wow! The inspector came the next morning and told me he’d have a proposal ready for me by the end of the day—and he did! The person who came out to do the work did an outstanding job. Great communication, reasonable price, and excellent work—overall, a very positive experience. I would recommend American Building Development very highly.

Dan and his team at ABD knocked out a kitchen wall and installed a support beam in its place, and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were extremely professional with very good communication. ABD (American Building Development) came to my home and provided an estimate for the work I needed. He was very professional, and the estimate was quite reasonable. A few weeks later, the crew arrived to begin work. I needed some dry rot wood on the front elevation replaced and painted, as well as water-damaged trim on my chimney. While they were already on the roof, they also fixed numerous cracked tiles that needed attention and caulked around all of my windows. Their work was excellent! They not only completed the tasks I contracted for but also went out of their way to do some additional work at no extra charge. ABD is not your ordinary contracting company; they are truly a step above. They were conscientious and competent in all the work they performed on my home. I will definitely have them back to work on my home again! They are a 5-star company!

I had some dry rot on the outer ends of two beams butted together spanning 42 feet. One beam needed to be replaced while only the other end required repair. Each beam was 6”x12”x21’, so replacing one required a special order to source it.
ABD (American Building Development) took on the job and produced outstanding results. I couldn’t be more satisfied. They were fast, efficient, and the end result is beautiful. The work took a little over half a day, and they left the work site clean and tidy, even running a magnet over the ground to ensure no nails or other metal was left behind.

I had dry rot in a door frame caused by faulty flashing on my garage roof. ABD came for an estimate and was quick, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. When it was time for the repairs, the crew showed up on time and didn't leave until the job was finished (almost 10 hours)! They replaced siding, the door header, and a stud, and also repaired some additional dry rot while paint matching everything. The crew was incredibly nice and very professional. American Building Development was very easy to talk to when they first came out to give us an estimate. They even came back out to answer some additional questions. Their estimate was very reasonable and within our limited budget. ABD then did an incredible job on taking care of our dry rot problems and replacing our French doors in the dining room and also a floor to ceiling window. I am very pleased with their expertise and quality of work. I will hire them again when the need arises in 20+ years. They were very respectful to me and my wife and put up with our dog joyfully when he got out to visit them.
