This Cookie Notice explains which cookies and similar technologies American Building Development uses on abdteam.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
How your choices work
Necessary cookies are always on because the site and our forms cannot work without them. Advertising tools are optional and stay off until you allow them, wherever you are; the only exception is Google Ads conversion measurement in the United States, described below. Rejecting optional tools does not affect your ability to browse the site, use the siding cost calculator, upload project photos, or request an estimate.
Analytics in the United States: if your browser is set to a United States time zone, our analytics tools (Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics) run from the first page you view, so we can see how the site is used. Google Analytics then runs without Google signals and without ad personalization. Analytics in the United States also includes Google Ads conversion measurement: when a visit leads to an estimate request, a tap on our phone number or a Google Maps link, our site tells Google Ads that this happened (the type of action only, not what you typed), together with the ad click identifier if you arrived from one of our Google ads, so we can see which ads work. It does not send your name, email address, phone number or form entries, does not set advertising cookies, is not used for ad personalization or remarketing, and sends nothing to Google Ads when you only view pages. Analytics in the United States also includes request attribution: an estimate request you send keeps how you reached us — the campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_*), the Google Ads click identifier, the landing page and the referring page — so our team knows which ads and pages bring requests. These are kept in first-party cookies on abdteam.com for 30 days (see HandL UTM Grabber) and sent only with your request to our team; your IP address is not stored in a cookie for this, and nothing is sent to ad platforms because of it. If you chose analytics only before October 11, 2026, we do not add this measurement to your choice, and if you chose it before October 19, 2026, we do not add request attribution. You can turn analytics off at any time with “Reject optional” or Cookie settings. Analytics and ad conversion measurement do not start on their own while your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, and ad conversion measurement stays off after you opt out of sale/sharing. We only read the time zone setting in your browser for this; nothing is looked up or stored. Everywhere else, Analytics stays off until you allow it, like Advertising.
Scrolling, continuing to browse, submitting a form, or accepting our Terms of Use is not consent to Advertising.
We store your choice in a first-party cookie named abd_consent for 12 months. It records only which categories you allowed, whether you opted out of sale/sharing, the version of this notice, and the time of your choice. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, we will ask again.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and keep Advertising off on this browser, even if the signal is later turned off. Choosing “Accept all” does not override a GPC signal or an opt-out you made earlier.
Change your cookie settings
You can review or change your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. When you turn a category off, we stop loading those tools and delete the cookies they set on abdteam.com; the page reloads to apply the change. Cookies that a provider sets on its own domain (for example, facebook.com) can only be deleted in your browser settings.
Your Privacy Choices (opt out of sale/sharing)
Advertising tools may involve “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by California law. You can opt out on this browser at any time using Your Privacy Choices in the footer. No account or identity verification is needed. Your opt-out is kept even if you later choose “Accept all”, and Advertising stays off on this browser; we do not currently offer a way to opt back in on this site. To ask us to access or delete your information, follow the steps in our Privacy Policy.

When you submit a form, the information you enter, any files you upload, and technical details such as your IP address are sent to us to process your request and protect our forms from spam. This is described in our Privacy Policy; our forms do not use your entries for analytics or advertising.
Analytics (optional)
Helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. On by default in the United States (see How your choices work); elsewhere loaded only if you allow Analytics. When Analytics is on without Advertising, Google Analytics is loaded directly from Google, without Google signals and without ad personalization; when you also allow Advertising, it runs through our Google Tag Manager container instead. In the United States, Analytics also includes Google Ads conversion measurement and request attribution (see How your choices work).

We do not use session recording (session replay) tools on this site.
Advertising (optional)
Measures and improves our advertising and attributes calls and estimate requests to the ads or pages that led to them. Loaded only if you allow Advertising and have not opted out of sale/sharing (including through GPC). Google Tag Manager is loaded only if Analytics is on and you allow Advertising. Google Ads conversion measurement and request attribution in the United States run with Analytics (see Analytics).

When Advertising is allowed and you successfully submit an estimate request, we tell Meta and Google that a request was made, without your name, email, phone number, address, message or photos.
Embedded content and links
Some pages show videos from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set YouTube cookies until you play a video. When you play a video, YouTube (Google) may store information in your browser under its own policies. Links to social networks, Google Maps or our other websites take you to sites with their own cookie practices; your choices here do not carry over to them.
